DARWEN HOUSE

WELCOME TO OUR HOME

"Navigating Life's Rivers: A Journey of Healing"

Darwen House provides a therapeutic community where young people find a welcoming and nurturing space to heal from various traumas and adversities. Nestled in the scenic village of Ulnes-Walton, Chorley, Darwen House is ideally suited for up to 3 young children, aged 7-17 years old. This 3-bed detached property offers a homely and healing environment amidst a picturesque Lancashire setting. The house is well-positioned, offering access to local parks, amenities, and a rich selection of schools, thus ensuring comprehensive care and development for the young residents. Darwen House features inviting personal spaces, a large garden, and a layout that fosters a sense of belonging and growth.

In Darwen House, our integrated care teams work closely with both internal and external professionals, delivering a care experience that centralizes the child's safety, wellbeing, and personal development. Our specialist practitioners, available 24/7, are dedicated to guiding our young people through important life milestones. We implement tailor-made care packages that are closely aligned with the individual care plans and developmental paths of our young people.

Echoing the ethos of our other homes, Darwen House maintains a consistent approach to care, focusing on bespoke therapeutic packages, trauma-informed practices, and holistic development. The therapy encompasses mindfulness, thrive practices, and person-centred therapy, all adapted to suit the unique paths of our young people, ensuring effective and empathetic care throughout their stay with us.
