WELCOME TO OUR HOME
"A home where your views are heard, your wishes are valued and your feelings are understood"
Jasmine House is an established therapeutic community that welcomes young people to a nurturing environment, aiding recovery and healing from adverse and traumatic experiences. Located in the peaceful semi-rural area of Blackburn, Lancashire, Jasmine House offers a therapeutic sanctuary for up to 4 young children, aged 7-17 years old. This large family home, surrounded by gardens, local amenities, and country parks, provides a perfect backdrop for personal growth and healing. Jasmine House is distinguished by its spacious rooms and multiple relaxation areas, ensuring a calm and comforting atmosphere for its residents. The home's close proximity to a diverse range of educational institutions, including primary, secondary, and specialist schools, caters effectively to the educational needs of the children.
We collaborate systemically with both internal and external care teams to ensure a unique experience that places the child's best interests and personal safety at the forefront of everything we do. Our dedicated specialists are available around the clock, supporting young people through significant milestones in their lives. The care teams at Jasmine House develop and execute individualized care packages, meticulously crafted to align with each child's care plan and personal journey.
Our approach in Jasmine House mirrors that of our other homes, emphasizing bespoke therapeutic packages, trauma-informed practices, and holistic growth. The therapy includes mindfulness, thrive practices, and person-centred therapy, all designed to meet the specific needs of each young person under our care.
"This is an excellent home which is beautifully presented and therefore, in my view, it is very much fit for purpose. Staff spend quality time with young people and communication is good, which helps the young people to feel confident in their approach to seek support. I am very satisfied that staff are promoting young people’s wellbeing and do follow procedure to keep them safe." REG 44 INSPECTOR
